About us
Welcome to The Covenant of God website. This website is simply a vehicle for sharing biblical studies with anyone who wishes to examine what the Scriptures teach.
Our studies cover the one true God, His Son Jesus Christ, God's biblical calendar, the Sabbath and Holy Days, the Passover of the New Covenant, the guidance on how to observe it, and the biblical model of the church.
We do not pay anyone for their services, nor do we accept payment for any service or material. We do not ask for, seek, accept, or expect anyone's tithes, offerings, or donations. For we have received freely, and freely we give.
Although there are many parts, there is only one body, and Christ is the head of that body (1 Cor. 11:3).
The body of Christ is made up of individuals and is not limited to members of a particular religious group or incorporated body (Matt. 11:28; Luke 6:47-48; Gal. 3:27; Rom. 6:3; 1 Cor. 12:27).
Following in the footsteps of our Saviour, we remain independent of religious organisations, institutions, associations, and denominations. Instead, we seek to follow the original early church model and see Christ as the church's only head and leader, both here and in the spiritual realm. Thus, we look to him, listen to him, and follow him as our only leader on earth (Matt. 17:5; Matt. 28:18; Eph. 1:20-23; Col. 1:18).
To avoid repeating the mistakes of past believers, we believe the church should not seek incorporation by the state. We encourage you to read our study, "What Is the Church Model?" This study examines various aspects of the church, including whether a church should seek incorporation, tax-deductible status, centralised power, or the appointment of a leader or board of directors.
We also recommend reading our study, The Tower of Babel: A Spiritual Prophecy. The story of the Tower of Babel, recorded in Genesis, reveals a pattern of human beings coming together under centralised authority. We believe this pattern provides important insight into the development of centralised organisations under the power and authority of one man, following the examples of Cain and Nimrod. This study examines the significance of the Tower of Babel and its spiritual meaning in relation to the pattern of human governance and authority that continues until Christ's return.
As brothers and sisters in faith, we are to instruct and build one another up and to serve and submit to one another (Phil. 2: 3; Rom. 12:10; Eph. 5: 21;1 Thess. 5:11; Gal. 5:14).
